If you're new here, then this is a mission post. You can find available missions at
rpmanager. You are welcome to subscribe or track the journal, but this is not required, as updates will be posted on this journal. For those of you who don't know about missions, the links below should help you out. I suggest you start with the Mission FAQ first!
For the upcoming two missions, we'll have a log set up on the 17th with additional information to get things going. You'll be able to use this as a plotting post. BOTH of the missions will share this log. Remember, members of the troupe are unaware of the true purpose of this mission and what the assassins are actually there for!

And since someone has to start, anyone want plots with Pepper? I don't have anything specific in mind, although I'm very open to ideas. :)

We should take advantage of this somehow. XD

As far as plotting goes, if we can choose what roles they will be playing, Leonhardt will be acting as a laborer since that will make it easiest to fulfill that mission.

Script for the play
The Rise of the Three
OOC INFORMATION:
The Hero - played by Raine Sage
In the course of the story, we begin with the Hero who is a new arrival to the world. Lost and confused, he soon meets up with the other three, who are already around. He frequently makes big speeches about saving the world and inspires the others into action. Occasionally, he speaks in bursts of comic relief. His personality has been exaggerated to the point of being a loudmouthed, spiky haired hero who names his attacks.
The Scientist - played by Albert Silverberg
As the straight man of the group, the Scientist is something of a stiff personality who waxes on about science and progress. His origins are not shared, but his smaller wings indicate him as someone also to have arrived in this world. Primarily his role in the narrative is explaining things to the audience. He lacks any sense of personality and is little more than cardboard character.
The Woman - played by Nerferti Vivi
As the token chick of the group, the Woman exists solely for the reason as the object of romantic interest for both the Hero and the General, though she seems primarily interested in the Scientist. Besides this, she offers little to the course of the story other than being indecisive over anything and everything that happens. Notably she has large wings. Whoever this woman truly was has now been lost to the ravages of narrative simplicity and awful troping.
The General - played by Trafalgar Law
For the first few scenes, the General acts as an extra character to each scene who is disinterested in the Hero’s rhetoric and the Scientist’s ambitions. As the only one with any sort of character development in the play, he begins to despair of the world and goes from being a rival to an outright antagonist. As the only character that present day writers know anything about, he is the only one well written.
There will be several scenes that precede this last one. They will include comedic moments, romantic situations between The Woman and all the male characters, and many staged battles between the Hero and the General.

IC SCRIPT:
The setting for this scene is an empty battlefield. Fake corpses line the edges of the stage. The Hero and the General are on the stage, exchanging blows. On the sidelines wait the The Scientist and The Woman together. The Woman clings desperately to his arm as he looks on coldly. The Hero finally lands a blow and pushes the sword through the General’s side while proclaiming his attack.
The Hero: “From the Heavens Above, Justice Sword Strike Delta!”
The Woman: “No, please, don’t kill him! There is hope for him yet!”
The Scientist: “I’m afraid he is too far gone for that now.” [He looks away.] “It is too late.”
[The General staggers back, clutching the sword at his side, gurgling in pain and staring at his opponent.]
The Hero: “Your evil is over, evil cultist! You have defiled this world too long with your barbaric sacrifices!”
The General: “You fools. This is not the end. You strike me down, but I shall return time and time again. You will make houses, I shall tear them down. You shall sow fields, I shall burn them to ashes. You will build walls, I shall shatter them like glass. There is nowhere you can hide to escape from your inevitable doom. You are but maggots clinging to the surface of a forsaken world, seeking to find escape from a well that has no exit.”
The Woman: [Her eyes flush with tears.] “No, it can’t be true. We’ll find a way. You just need to have hope!”
The Scientist: “Hope and war will get us nowhere. Progress and the pursuit of science will save us.”
The Hero: “That’s right. And I’ll always be there to defend that progress!”
The General: “Insolent children! Progress is meaningless if it it marches in the wrong direction.” [He coughs and sputters, fading fast. He falls to his knees.]
The Woman: “No!” [She rushes to The General’s side.]
The Scientist: [Grabs the Woman’s arm.] “Stop! He could still...!”
The Hero: [Acting in accordance with the Scientist’s desires, he places himself as an obstacle between the Woman and the General.] “It’s over. Look away, if you must.”
The Woman: “You don’t understand.” [She breaks free.] “I love him.”
[Both the Hero and the Scientist gasp. The General bows his head instead.]
The General: “You cannot.... I no longer.... know what it means.... to love.... Now I... only know.... death.” [He dies.]
The Woman: “Nooooo!” [She falls to his side, clutching the General’s now limp hand.]
The Scientist: [He kneels on the other side of the General and lifts his hand, placing a finger on his wrist. He looks up.] “He’s dead.”
The Hero: “He was a worthy foe. But I bet that’s not the last time we’ll see that guy!”
[The Scientist and the Hero both chuckle.]
The Woman: “If only we could have reached him before it was too late.”
The Scientist: [Turns to Audience.] “If only his close friends had seen the signs, we could have reached him before through counselling and psychological profiling. We must endeavor to watch all our friends, whether their wings be great or small, for the signs of the oncoming madness. It could happen to anyone at any time.”
The Hero: [Turns to Audience.] “He’s right. Their ideology may be tempting when we turn to despair, but we must steel ourselves against ideas that are contrary to progress and the betterment of our world.”
The Woman: [Turns to Audience.] “You’re both right. I’ll make sure something like this never happens to me or anyone else. The three of us will work together to find a way to make a place where people can live in peace and pursue progress and find a way home.”
[The curtains close.]
