Sure, you have a bit of creative leeway since unusual things are drawn into the world sometimes. Unusual creatures/plants/etc will be statistically less common than what you'd usually find in the enclosure- it's just one small fraction of the world's normal population, after all. It's why the unusual things on the list aren't found all over the place. Still, it happens! (Continent #6 has an unusually high concentration of wacky things, which is why it has unusual monsters and is considered more dangerous.)
