It's hard to say with Disgaea. The story suggests that the Prinny Squad might not always be present (such as when the Prinnies ditch her in Disgaea 2), but she can drop waves of Prinny Bombs at will. They gotta come from somewhere.

Then again, this could very well be the intent and the attack might just operate on Rule of Funny. It IS Disgaea, they fourth wall everything to hell and back. So. Really, it works however it needs to at the current moment in time, probably.
