Kain is an antagonist in the second one too, if that helps (at least at first). Of course, so is Rosa, since the first part of that AU is pretty much Baron forces trying to track them down until things get simultaneously explained and severely muddied up.

Oh, and in the first one, "villain" is meant inasmuch as Golbez himself. That is to say, probably more to blame for his actions than he was in game, but still used. Lol Zemus. Also Lol Baigan, who gets a much larger role in that AU (since without Golbez there's no Cagnazzo to take over the throne, so instead we have a traitor)...
