Ceo getting away isn't too hard. Remember Yuber has orders not to attack any characters unless they attack first. So if Ceo just shows up and Kain gets in the way, well Yuber is going to go after Kain, not Ceodore.

Or if worse comes to worse, either Ceo or Yuber could be sent back due to being out for over eighteen hours. I have totally used that to prevent death in the past and am willing to use it again.
