I almost left this so that I could think about it longer, but I don't want to leave you in a holding pattern, so:
Vash would make a hilarious romantic interest, not going to lie, but since I first wrote that comment, I'm actually starting to lean towards leaving Fenimore unaffected this event. I feel really bad turning you down, but (forgive the stereotypical phrase) it's not you, it's me. I'm a little reluctant to start CR off with a love event -- while, granted, they have threaded before in Luceti Valley, it would practically be starting their CR since Fenimore was a kid then. And I'm currently at a bit of a shakey place with Fenimore's voice, so going into a not especially comfortable zone like romance might be a bad idea. Unless it was a pairing I actually shipped, I don't know if I could pull it off right now and at the moment I don't ship her with anyone. I'd probably be able to work through one of those on their own, but both of them together has me leaning towards leaving Fenimore unaffected.
...Strangely, I would have no problem with their CR starting with the lovey star fruit, if you are interested in that. (Or starting their CR otherwise. Starting it in general would also be cool.) But a whole relationship is just bad timing for me.
I'm really sorry to tell you this and I really should have edited this comment or told you when I started to lean like this since Sapph mentioned she had suggested you talk to me. But I was hoping that I would end up changing my mind -- and I still might, as I do plan to think (and sleep) on it. It's possible that my reluctance is only taking hold to this point because I am quite tired tonight! But you should probably continue to ask around, since at the moment I'm thinking about spending this event on the sidelines.
Sorry again and I hope you can find someone good for Vash. He will definitely be an awesome partner in the experiment. I just don't think I'm going to be a good one, myself (...rather, Fenimore would be the partner, but...you know what I mean).
