Um. There's really not a TON for me to say? Basically Luffy is a straight forward run-in-head first kinda guy. And his powers are pretty overpowered Shonen hero type. Especially after timeskip. He's basically a rubber man and as such a lot of his abilities can be sort of cartoony and a liiiiittle unrealistic. He can blow air into his thumb, giving his the arm and fist of a giant for example. He also is able to use "Gear Second" which is basically him using a part of his body (usually his legs) as a kind of blood pump to pump the blood through his body faster.
Since he's made of rubber, his heart doesn't explode from the large increase in blood pleasure and he's able to move at amazing speeds-- somewhere around the speed of sound-- for a limited amount of time. He naturally has incredible strength and stamina too because lol Shonen.
BUT YEAH THAT'S THE BASICS. There's other things but that's the gist of most of it I thinks!
