We're gonna call it...

TOTAL RECALL III: THE REVENGE OF THE RETURN OF PAST EVENTS PART TWO
(Coming to a Luceti near you, from May 26th to June 4th)

So what is a Total Recall? Basically we take a bunch of past events, various kidnapping effects, we throw it in a basket. We smooth it out, we toss it around, we study it, we construct a 9000 word essay about it, and then we dump it all back on you guys. What this means is, for ten days, you guys can pick and choose from the below effects and do WHATEVER you want. It's fun fun fun. In fact, let's just look at the fabulous available effects:

Time Skip: Age your character up, age 'em down, whatever you like.

Gender swap: Boys become girls, girls become boys.

Personality Change: Wish your character was more flirty? Girly? Manly? Boisterous? Emo? Feel free to mess with them as much as you like!

Body swap: Switch with another character's body! Self-explanatory.

You Are What You Love: What do you love most? Now you're that! Maybe it's a person, a food, an animal, or something else.

Change of Species: Transform into another creature or species, sentient or otherwise!

Fairy Tale Roles: Live out the role of fairy tale characters. Get some ideas here.

RPG Questing: Be a knight! A black mage! Or a fool! Add some life to your week with a quest or two. Details here.

Horoscopes: Let a set of horoscopes guide you through this event. Details here.

Teleporting: Characters are randomly teleported to another location for no apparent reason!

Mini: Characters are shrunk! Chibified! Tini'd! How small can you go?

Thought Bubble: What you're thinking about? Sometimes it may show up in a bubble above your head, as either text or as an image. Oops.

Masks! Masks! Masks!: Not enough already? Well all those masks are back and scattered across Luceti. A complete list is over here.

Alternate Universes: We have three different kinds you can do.
--The first is Luceti's Alternate History, where you can mold a character to fit the setting of that previous event (whether you were around for it or not!).
--Second is an Alternate Universe set in in your own canon, which you can read about here.
--The third option is the recent Cross-Canon Alternate Universe. This means you can transplant your character into another canon and make them whatever you want! The only limitation is that you don't send your character to a canon not already represented in Luceti. Also, be sure to talk to members of that cast if you do! It's the considerate thing to do.


NOW BUCKLE UP CUZ WE'RE GONNA THROW FIVE THOUSAND RULES AT YOU.





... or not. This is more or less a free-for-all! But here's some good guidelines:

The event will last for ten days! Why that long? Because you don't have to do just one thing! You'll have the freedom to pick and choose whatever you want and let it last for as long as you like. Maybe for the first half your character will teleport around town, then in the second half they'll spend it as a goat! Why not, says I?

You can stack effects! This means your character can turn into a panda bear, become tiny, and suddenly start teleporting to all the hippest places!

All we ask is that you use a little common sense. If you stack so many effects on your character to the point of being unrecognizable, then you've sort of stopped playing your character at that point. And what's the point in that, right? Be cool, guys. We're trusting you!

The event starts on the 26th at 12:00AM EST! It will subsequently end on June 4th, at 11:59PM EST.

This is a plotting post for Tony, Hiccup, Hughes, Rapunzel and Toph!!

For Tony (this journal), he's going to spend the first three days of the event bodyswapped with dad. So, that'll be good times. He'll try not to wreck your body, Howard. :| Other than that! He's pretty much open. I could bring back Serial Hugger Tony, or some kind of personality realignment could be fun.

For Hiccup (dragoneer), he will once against be personality-changed to Suave Hiccup. And potentially Badass Hiccup. Basically, you can count on Hiccup spending at least some time of the event trying to court all the ladies and riding around on Toothless like a steed with a feather in his hat. Which of course means he should hit on all of his genderbent friends and thus embarrass him into forever.

For Hughes (affability) and Rapunzel (gleamed), both are completely blank slates! So, details to come on them. If you have any ideas, hit me up!

And for Toph (metalbends), I've got a few idea in mind--possibly turning her into an Onix again, bringing back Demure Toph, or perhaps bringing back her Luceti AU adult self. She'll also be laying the smackdown on Sync during this time. 8Db

I was thinking of AUing Wolverine into the MCU, where he'd have been a SHIELD agent who ended up joining the Avengers. He'd also have been part of Captain America's groups (so he'd have known Howard as well.) Also Hugh Jackman icons.

But I wanted to see if you and Marion would be cool with ALSO being part of that AU. Just a small add on effect for your other ones, so they can all be familiar with each other. Whaddya think?

This is my update thread where I will keep track of stuff so do not reply to this one. Reply to the one above. Yeah.

Gold: Day 1 will involve Gold turning into a Pokémon. I'm thinking a Shiny Infernape. Red, Yellow, White, and Black colors. It's paafecto!

Days 2-4 will be Gold's thought bubbles. Marvel as his thought bubbles shift between being totally empty and absolutely exploding with activity!

Days 5-7 are reserved for AU'ing Gold into the Faeverse, where he'll be a werewolf-type. Hyperactive and hotheaded, and prone to getting into trouble... ...Which won't be much of a change for him, granted. More details at 11.

Days 8-10 are reserved for Luceti Valley, but with a twist. Similar to his old one, but Silver will be part of it now. And they will grow up as adoptive brothers. Anyone wanna get in on it?

Asbel:: Day 5-7 he is being bodyswapped with Cheria, apparently! Horrible ensues. He'll be teleporting the first day or two as well, and I'll be sure to have him in on the Naked Shower Teleportation. Still open for plottings with this guy!

For the event Hulk and Bruce are going to switch personalities. So basically Hulk is going to be in Bruce's body, and Bruce is going to be in Hulk's body! What this will mean is that little wimpy Bruce is going to be acting like he's huge and tough. And big strong mighty Hulk is going to be acting like wimpy Bruce!

Ling Yao - He'll be 'swapped' with Ran Fan the entire week (though actually via mutual "You Are What You Love"). I may do some other minor effects on top of it, but otherwise there ya go.

Arthur - He'll be part of the Luceti Valley thing as Buffy's brother. Of course, this means he won't be King Arthur anymore. I have nothing else in mind yet, though.

Wolverine - I may AU him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (complete with Hugh Jackman icons!), but I'm still on the fence. We'll see.

So many ideas to go by... I don't know where to start. I've wanted a light-hearted event like this for a while. Here are some ideas, but I don't think I'll be using all of them, given time and consistency:


-Child Daisy. Basically everything the moment just as ONI Agents take her. Given it will actually be a place full of mythological beings instead of a military hell, she may get adapted fast. With the recurrent traits of being a child prodigy.

-Moeblob Daisy. Something that first appeared after the draft of June. I really liked playing her as something of a Mikuru. Prolly some people did as well.

-7-inch or 7cm Daisy. Her height problems are solved. She is tiny and carryable!

-Teleporting Naked on the first day? She'd probably take it far better than most people. Enjoy the view, though.

-One Piece Kuja? Very minor AU. Basically, got around reading a little of One Piece, and read a little of the Island that Sanji was hilariously denied of. She'd have her own snake to boot.

-Princess Daisy, along with the hair? To be fair, she already has a lot of hoarded dresses from the Fairy Tale shift.

OKAY. I have Xion here and Jane Foster. Xion, depending on her mental state, might sit this one out. She's in a very, very bad place lately and getting fucked with further might push her over the edge. Into what, I'm not sure! But I'm going to be cautious with her. I'm open to ideas or suggestions, though, especially if her CR is getting up to hijinks.

Jane is still pretty new, but her, I'd LOVE to mess around with. She's a very normal, non-powered human being, and the super hero business is sort of not her thing. Which is why I'd very much like to power her up for 10 days and see how she copes. Not precisely sure how I'll go about this - maybe with use of an RPG role, or even a species change. I COULD USE SOME IDEAS, HERE.

Plotting is welcome for both girls, even if Xion's just playing a non-affected straight man. Come at me bros!

I currently have no firm plans for Fenimore, but I have a few options that seem like they might be interesting. I’m probably going to restrain myself to one, maybe two large effects due to my tagging rate, though I might fill in gaps with things that don’t affect her much and leave her largely observing others’ effects.

Anyway, AUs always tempt me. I have a journal set up for Luceti Valley Fenimore (catchesgoldfish), so that’s possible. My original intent was to do it as a mallynap effect (especially if I could coordinate it with a draft or something), but this might be a better opportunity. I also have been pondering an AU wherein Fenimore is the Merines (for those canonblind, basically something of a messiah-like figure for her people) since, well, the AU event of August 2010 (it was an option, but I went instead with the one where Fenimore and Shirley were lesbian lovers i.e. not much changed). I like the idea, but after a couple of years in Luceti the difference would be largely that she is more socially awkward and tsun, so it’s likely more convoluted than it is worth. I don’t have any others on the table (except I guess lesbiansverse which would likely go entirely undetected), but I enjoy AUing things.

Species change is an obvious effect for her, given her issues with humans, but I’m currently unsure how fun it would be for her to be flipping out over this. Also possible is aging down to a kid wherein she would be also flipping out over the humans, but I am similarly unsure. I also might look up what I eventually decided on for the Personality Change event since I…never ended up threading any of that.

And if I want to be entirely self-indulgent, I could go for the You Are What You Love event, because I really enjoyed myself when that happened. Probably at least partially over the entertainment of watching Shirley’s face emote completely wrong and making this face a hundred and six times. It’s probably a bad idea, since it’s been over a year since Shirley was here (due to the one last cycle only making one post and being retconned out when she dropped), leaving few people to recognize her, and also it might upset Fenimore more than it entertains me. But I am tempted.

And otherwise, idk. I may end up doing none of the above, even. But I am totally up for plots and figuring this stuff out, since I find that I am not quite so good at advance planning on my own. Have at me.

Archie: He's going to be about eight years old and running around with Horatio and Jilly, who will be roughly the same age as he will be. June 2nd is his birthday, so I might try something special for it.

Peeta: Luceti Valley AU with his castmates.

Gregor: A cocktail of fun so far. The first few days or until I grow tired of it, he'll have a personality change and be happy and well-adjusted for once in his life. On the fourth day he'll have a case of the Thought Bubbles. Anyone who wants to take advantage of those to learn things about him had better do so right quick, because as soon as he realizes those are going on, he is walling himself up in his apartment and not coming out until they go away. After that, I don't have firm plans. Heck, even those plans are fluid.

Of course, nothing's set in stone, and I am always up for changing/adding more effects for the sake of awesome plotting, so yes, speak up...!!

Orphen will be time skipped to his younger self from May 29-June 4. (First three days with Hartia and the rest on his own. There may be some teleporting in there somewhere, too.)

Details are still in the works! I'd definitely love to do something with Caesar for the middle/end of the event, but I have no ideas yet. Otherwise, my other three are still open for the first three days, and their other effects can be shortened if needed.

XD I'm kind of tempted also to turn him into that Hulk-like Big Mac some of you might remember from back on LJ. I think if Mac were an animal, he'd be a dog... not particularly exciting, but rather cute. :P I'd be curious to hear random ideas if you had any.

Isaac... oh boy. I was thinking he might transform into Hector, a man he still has some feelings for despite everything. Better than him turning into a block of cheese, which is also something else he loves. He could also change species... and, okay, let's face it. Ceodore: Aged down because bitty is adoraderp. Possibly also thought bubbles because I loved that one and bombarding people with thoughts of cookies and airships and mama's hugs is best. Yes.

For Aang I've been building up the most ideas. I'm thinking of a system where he has a different effect every two days as long as it isn't too convulated. So far there's

-Timeskip Aang: I defnitely want to use this as an excuse to play an older form of Aang. Either the canon version with memory loss or one who has lived in Luceti all this time.
-Overlapping with the above, Masa suggested using an older Aang from the Avatar Sokka AU. This one's pretty tempting since I would be playing an Aang who's already a spirit mentor and has lived with the air nomads instead of being frozen (I think... I have to actually read that AU's info). I'll see if I can have both older Aang scenarios, but I think I'm more inclined towards the more canon version so that he'll be able to recognize his castmates.
-Body swap: Not sure if this will actually happen, but Aang and Katara switching bodies for a day could result in some awkward hijinks.
-Kid form: Aang as a kid could definitely be fun and bittersweet. It's something I was thinking of as a mallynap effect and could probably still be used as such, but it during this event it could be fun to bounce him off of other characters who are kiddified.
-AU: I'm also thinking of tapping an AU for some portion of the time. Possibly refining Robin-Aang, but I've thought of two alternatives instead:
--Naruto: A version of Aang who was raised as the ninja nunnery. But possibly not actually a ninja.
--Marvel Movieverse: Since Tony's here, can Aang think he's an Asgardian? That could be pretty fun.

If anyone has any suggestions, for other AUs or anything, feel free to shoot them this way.

Outside of the three that I really want to do throughout the event for Syre ("Gender Swap", "Personality Change", and "Masks! Masks! Masks!"), I'm open for anything! :D

Day 1: This event will start off on an odd note for Syre -- a personality switch will make her want to flirt with... pretty much anyone she finds attractive!

Days 2 and 3: Along with her new, flirty tendencies, Syre will be gender-swapped these two days! So, ladies, be on the lookout for a tanned, brown-haired man trying to charm his way into your pantsarms!

Days 4 through 7: Her new personality quirk may be gone, but now Syre is now in possession of the Phanto Mask -- during the days, (s)he'll be teacher-like and generally helpful, while at night, (s)he'll be looking for things to dissect. Not good!

Days 8 and 9: The mask is gone, and the flirty streak is back! Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife...

Day 10: The event is winding down, and Syre's body is back to normal (generally). She will still be trying to flirt the pants off of people for the day, however!
