The Malnosso only have those four large ships, which themselves aren't terribly huge (they crew less than a thousand each). There's not enough space travel to justify anything else for them. However there could be opportunities for Scorpius to command. For instance, in a section of manned turrets or commanding a squadron of Tyr-fighters from the ship.
