For getting affected by the Dream Shifters, what if the only person the victim ever really "loved" is now someone they want to kill? Would the Shifter fixate on the strong feelings, or would they try for someone less likely to get them shanked immediately?

And following that, does the Shifter completely copy the person they're imitating (like with powers etc) or is it just sort of a shallow illusion?
