Jane has exactly zero sympathy for anyone who would put supplies at risk or may or may not have blown up a hospital. That kind of situation hits a little too close to home for her, so she feels compelled to support the Depot despite hating the Malnosso. In addition, Sheriff Williams is pretty much the exact kind of person she could respect without too many complaints.
