I can say right now that Panda won't be much help setting up camp. It's not because he won't want to (he won't), but he's actually pretty short and he's not very strong! Fenimore won't have to worry too much about Panda, either. As much as he'd love to moralize people and act cute to lift spirits, he's pretty slow—providing water and assisting where needed will take up most of his time. If he's being helpful, he's likely to work pretty hard! That said, because of his fur, someone might need to check on him and make sure he's not overworking himself. And he will goof off a little, but on the second day especially he'll probably be all over being helpful before just collapsing somewhere and sleeping it off.
