Revy will be going by her real name Rebecca in this AU! She is the daughter of a Catherian and a villager. Originally her family was respectably middle-class, with the Catherian owning some sort of business, but general business/economic troubles plus getting hounded by some of the locals for their class mixing resulted in that business completely going down and her family losing much of their wealth. Consequently, the relationship between her mother and father broke down to the point of arguments practically every single day. Rebecca chose to stay out of the house as much as possible to avoid such discord. School bored her, however, so she skipped it and eventually got in with a street gang or another, being a delinquent. She earned the street name "Two Hand" for her ability to dual wield switchblades in a fight. When she wasn't doing delinquent-y things, she was maybe taking an odd job here and there for extra money -- most of which went towards booze or gambling.
At some point during this part of her life, Rebecca met Nic Brown and eventually married him for reasons that she can't really remember anymore. When he went clean, she decided to do so as well, but soon found that it simply didn't suit her nature. She returned to activities like shoplifting in order to earn income for her family, which now included son Donatello and daughter Norma. Currently, she works at either Cloud Nine or Good Spirits, but during the day she tends to stay out of the house as much as possible to get away from her family. What a loving wife, eh? She'd love to get divorced (and so would Nic), but the legal costs are way out of either of their price range and Rebecca has very little concept of "saving." To her, it's less effort to just work around things.
