This is more out of curiosity or anything, since I don't know how likely it is these shades will come into play again...
Long ago, Specialist Davis gave Precis a pair of shades that allowed her to see shifts, and those shades were left with Leon when she disappeared. The shades eventually led to finding the invisible door in the tunnels. One of the things it could see was a "depth" to people's eyes if they had died and been revived in the world. The more times they had died, the "deeper" their eyes appeared.
Would people who died during the draft have "deeper" eyes?
(I don't think anything was ever done with this when it was first described, so if it needs to be retconned, that's an option.)
