For question number two: you'll have to wait on that. During the draft there are not going to be MSF people that will really have the time or inclination to answer those kind of questions.

For question number one:
At first glance the bodies appear to be whole, their faces not so much peaceful as completely without any expression at all. However, if the eyes are pried open for examination, the whites are revealed to be filled entirely with blood, starting to go brown with age. Rolling one of the bodies over will reveal two obvious wounds:
1) The feathers, skin, and flesh have been removed completely from the wings, leaving only the bones and tendons behind. The wings are still fully articulated. Thin lines have been carved into the bones, which if felt should almost seem like words or characters, but they are in no understandable language. Touching these marks too long may cause a strange feeling of disconnection and dizziness.
2) There is a single circular wound in the back of the neck at the base of the skull, similar to what one might expect from the insertion of something slightly larger than an icepick. The wound goes deeply into the brain. If one wants to get close enough and smell, at the wound, the faint scent of cooked flesh is still detectable.

The bodies have not begun to decompose at all, though they have assumed ambient temperature. Neither first nor second rigor mortis have set in, and neither has livor mortis.
