Yes. I'll try my best to say what it is I'm trying to say, but I'm having a hard time articulating this even to myself.

The problem is the summoning thing.

I understand the line of reasoning behind no summoning, as it has been explained to me in the past: no character can bring things from another world. That's just not part of the setting, nor does it make sense. However, the repeated assurances that the banning of summoning even during events where it might be plausible and even useful is not, as you say, 'cockblocking' says two things to me:

1) That there is some other implied reason behind the no summoning rule, something to do with the plot and perhaps something pivotal.
2) That it may in fact be cockblocking, though I sincerely hope this is not the case.

After two years plus, and no progress on this front (though the rules have changed a little since the beginning, which I respect), and an admitted bias because I have a character who canonically relies on summoning when things get dicey, I just want to be told what in the world this other reason is. Or have it elaborated somehow.

It is in the nature of Luceti that we don't know what's really going on. I kind of like that, most of the time, because figuring out the mystery is fun for me. But this specific issue has gotten to the point where it feels like a "because I said so" without foundation.

I hope that made sense?
