How's My Driving?

This is a crit post for both the community and game and for your characters. If you have something you'd like to see us improve upon with the game, PLEASE TELL US HERE! Anon commenting is on, but if anything gets really nasty there will be warnings and thread-freezing. This isn't required but everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the advice of your fellow players!

Just some pointers: no taking cheap shots, no dragging personal issues into things and for the love of all that is wise and great, please double check your replies and comments before posting them. Sometimes a change in phrasing can make all the difference between a helpful tone and a condescending one.

ALSO ALSO: We'd like to clarify that HMD means HMD- which means it's okay to have both good and bad crit. Some people have expressed concerns about posting good/bad crit when a character already has bad/good crit posted. We'd like to encourage you guys to do it anyway! You can drive well or badly, and even good drivers make mistakes. So give it a try \o

Derek! *glomp* You have made him so well-rounded, hun. It's absolutely amazing how three-dimensional he is. I'm really glad that Katara's gotten comfortable enough to really talk to him, and the fact that Rogue has someone around to talk music with is a godsend. He is one of my all time favorite adults in the game, and the character development he's been through here has been an amazing story to watch. Thanks for all the effort with him - really.

He's been a blast to play, and I've played him for...actually, years, so you can probably blame the 'roundness' on that XD.

And I do like the interactions between him and Katara, especially since, from his view point, young as she is, she's got a really good head on those shoulders, which is something he can appreciate.

It's a little slippery with him right now, because he's in one of the worst head spaces I've ever played him in, and trying to balance the positive with the negative is difficult; Derek gets down, but he doesn't wallow...and it's like juggling sand for someone like me (when I get down...I go with it and sleep for forever and do other, non-active things XD). I'm hoping to get him back into something reasonable, but I'll admit that's part of the reason why I'm so slow with him lately.
