How's My Driving?

This is a crit post for both the community and game and for your characters. If you have something you'd like to see us improve upon with the game, PLEASE TELL US HERE! Anon commenting is on, but if anything gets really nasty there will be warnings and thread-freezing. This isn't required but everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the advice of your fellow players!

Just some pointers: no taking cheap shots, no dragging personal issues into things and for the love of all that is wise and great, please double check your replies and comments before posting them. Sometimes a change in phrasing can make all the difference between a helpful tone and a condescending one.

ALSO ALSO: We'd like to clarify that HMD means HMD- which means it's okay to have both good and bad crit. Some people have expressed concerns about posting good/bad crit when a character already has bad/good crit posted. We'd like to encourage you guys to do it anyway! You can drive well or badly, and even good drivers make mistakes. So give it a try \o

I really only have about one thing to bring up that I'm seeing is an issue again: the FAQ page.

It was mentioned before and after that questions were answered pretty quickly. Now we have one who has been waiting a month for a response, two more who have been waiting weeks.

That just really sets a bad impression of the game since that's often where new players will ask questions. I understand sometimes it can take time to check with other mods, but at the very least it would be nice to acknowledge that it's been seen.

Other pages are also taking a bit too long to update still, which was supposed to change with Cata being made a mod, but nothing really is as bad as the FAQ page. I know you guys have lives and all, just was hoping to see some improvement there with another mod and I'm not seeing it.

I realize this may come across as a bit of an odd request, but... Can I ask you to be a bit more careful about how you handle Ginia's Dissociative Identity Disorder? For the most part, you've been doing okay with it, but things such as referring to her as a "girl and a half" as you did on the last meme can honestly come across as insensitive and even somewhat hurtful to some people.

I assume that bit was meant in jest, but speaking as a friend of someone who's been dealing with DID for years now, it admittedly made me really uncomfortable, so I'd really appreciate it if you could be more cautious about this in the future.

So I haven't been able to follow Mithos nearly as well as I'd like, but based on that one trainwreck of a thread between him, Dhaos, and Grune? I'd say you have his personal brand of logic down COLD. He's a hard one to play, because as logic makes absolutely no sense to an outsider, but to him, it has to be consistent. And from the little I've seen, you've more than pulled that off. Kudos! ♥
