EVENT DETAILS

Bet you kids in the desert are getting tired of seeing the dunes. Well, if you hit sand on Monday, then come Thursday evening you're more than likely going to be seeing some desert ruins off in the distance (minus the hummers and such >_>;).



It is, as you can see, a damn big temple. The inside is a myriad of chambers and hallways, ranging from sleeping quarters to crude medical rooms to even what appears to be halls of worship. What little wood furniture was used is rotted to the point of collapse, as well as any cloth draperies and linens. There are etchings across the walls, but time and the elements have swept through the temple, depositing sand and rubbing the walls clean of any intact phrases. Even with a table to decipher the markings, there's hardly so much as a phrase long enough to make any sense of.

The worship chambers are more than likely the most interesting; glass bulbs are slotted into small, carved alcoves, once filled with oil and each containing a wick. At the stone dias in the center of the room there are circular symbols carved into the stone, but nothing in particular pops out. Perhaps some broken pottery here and there, maybe once water jugs or jugs for scented oils and incence, but it appears that most of the temple was cleared out.

Surrounding the temple are durable canvas tents, obviously much more recent than the ruins themselves, with metal examination tables and x-ray equipment, much like what one would find at an archeological dig. The equipment still works, so if your character knows how to work it, they're free to examine rocks or whatever. The readouts might not make a lot of sense, but it'll at least show that the ruins are being investigated. Obviously someone thinks they're important enough to pay attention to.

Out of the three tents set up, two have laptops on the tables in addition to any other equipment. On these laptops, one can find what appears to be the journal system for Luceti in digital form, as it would appear on your computer. Anything privated is viewable with a simple mouseclick, all past data recorded. For actions and logs, there are separate files that list each character's activities from the day they arrived- however, there are holes in the reports, information missing. Where that occurs, a glaring [ERROR; DATA RETRIEVAL] tag is noted. If it wasn't obvious before that Luceti was being watched, now it is. However, apparently their surveillance isn't infalliable. Maybe there's a pattern to that.

MINI EVENT!

Guess what it's time for, you guys?



If you don't know what a Fourth Wall Event is, that's basically a free-for-all anything-goes RP fest with any journals, personal or other accounts. Here are the basics:

- It will last from Friday, December 19th, 12:01 AM EST and continue onward until Saturday, December 20th, 11:59 PM EST.
- You may only have one post per character, per day. You obviously don't have to post, but if you want to play Character A, he may only post once per day, so twice in total. You may do this with all the characters you play; if you play seven characters, you may post with each once a day only.
- Commenting may continue past the event end date, but only on the posts made during that event. Obviously.
- Anything goes. Linking, fangirling, jumping people with "OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND YOUR MUN IS NICE ♥" The characters must remain IN CHARACTER. The characters themselves cannot break the fourth wall, only "wtf" at all of it.
- Your character MAY interact physically with other characters, and even "personal journals." However, this will have to be action post since uh...they can't post in the logs comm.
- You may use personal journals, other RP accounts, whatever you want. AU, IC, absolutely anything. If you do not want to participate, don't! That's perfectly all right, considering there might be some very inappropriate things happening.
- When this is all over, your characters will only vaguely remember this as if it were some drug-induced hallucination. The Malnosso will provide some half-assed explanation as to why all those people appeared, so be prepared to scoff at them.

EDIT: DO NOT use this event as an excuse to comment on characterization. That's what HMD posts are for. This event is for fun, not wank.
