get your add/removes! piping hot add/removes! and maybe an event, too...
Eyes front! Time for some minor housekeeping and then some event chatter.
Number One: Gonna have you do your add and removes. (Or Add and Dels as DW likes to call it)
Now copy all of that and then paste it over here. BUT FIRST! What journal are you logged into? Is it the right one? Fingers crossed!
Are you new? With the thrill and delight of being in a new game, maybe you forgot to add your info to one of our many useful pages. It’s okay, because I'm going to remind you right now to do it. All of you other people? Pay attention. Maybe you forgot to do it too!
Friend/Add Remove - If you're new and you weren't on the list above, you need to post to that!
Taken Characters - Find your canon from the list there and post your information in the right place. Let us know if for some reason your canon isn't listed.
Locations - Figure out where your character is living and tell us about it!
Player Contact - Post your contact info so people can talk to you about all kinds of cool things. Please note that comments are screened!
Also, if you're into that kind of thing, you can peruse our missions. There are no current new missions taking on volunteers but keep an eye out for something soon!
The poll has spoken and it turns out we’re going to be doing some memory-wiping! This is a short post-app event and we hope you guys will have a lot of fun with it.
On the 27th, as the cosmic clock ticks over past midnight and eventually as they wake up in the morning, Lucetians all over the village will experience a rather uncomfortable headache. Uncomfortable is all it will be: a slight pain, akin to dehydration or perhaps a light hangover. Luckily, it’s nothing a tall glass of water or a painkiller won’t fix because your characters will have far more to worry about than sore noggins. No -- the real kicker is that Luceti is now suddenly plagued with a case of wide-spread amnesia.
From September 27th to October 1st, characters will not be able to remember who they are, where they’re from, why they’re here, or who they know. They won’t be completely at a disadvantage -- they’ll still remember how to brush their hair and feed themselves and all those other useful skills. Characters with spectacular abilities involving muscle memory or natural inclinations towards magic and powers may find themselves surprised and shocked when suddenly they break open a door while trying to open it or conjure a fireball out of nowhere when angry. Importantly, your characters will also retain a certain amount of cultural awareness. While they do not remember their actual lives, they’ll at least recall the basic obligations and expectations of their world. For example, Gold knows what Pokemon are, but he won’t necessarily remember that he trains them. Walter knows what the Ferines are and where they come from, but he may not immediately realize he is one. Or Sokka might meet Katara and while he won’t remember that she’s his sister, he may recognize the cultural significance of her necklace and may assume that she is either engaged or married.
Included in the above sliding scale of awareness is the chance for your characters to retain some aspects of themselves -- favourite foods, music preferences, modes of dress, or even personality traits. The important part is that your characters won’t remember these things as habitual and may be surprised by some of their own likes and dislikes -- heck, they may even try and find ways to explain these things without knowing their full stories.
They will, however, have a little help in figuring out who they are. Everyone affected by the amnesia-plague will find a little flashcard on or near their person when they wake up (or if they don’t sleep, it’ll simply appear when they’re not looking). This flashcard provides the bearer with their name and four facts about themselves. The card is printed on stiff cream-coloured paper with crisp printed lettering. It resembles a sort of form letter with the requisite blanks filled in by hand. Hand-writing varies across the cards, as if a number of people were involved with filling them out. The form looks like this:
Also they will receive a peelable sticker badge with their name already filled in. Wearing it is optional.
Feel free to brainstorm an entirely new list of facts or, if you’d like and if your character was around for the Topsy Turvy event, you can also feel free to reuse any of the tree-rumours you wrote up right here. As with the tree gossip, not all of the flash-card facts are required to be truths. They can be all truths or some truths. Even the given name can be a lie, if you’d like. Have fun with it! Your character certainly isn't obligated to believe what's written about them, but I'll bet some of those facts are pretty juicy...
As with the Topsy Turvy event, we’ll have a thread where you can post your flash cards!
By no means is this a mandatory experiment and you can opt out simply by having your character unaffected by the amnesia -- just be aware that anyone who isn’t suffering from memory loss will also not receive a flashcard.
Come the 1st, Lucetians will once again awaken to a groggy head but their memories will once again be intact. If you have any questions, please hit us up in the Mod Questions thread below.

Greetings, your name is _______. It seems you've lost your memory. Here's some facts about yourself:
1. ____
2. ____
3. ____
4. ____
Hopefully this is all just temporary. Be careful who you trust out there. People may claim to know everything, but you know what they say: Trust half of what you read and none of what you hear. Good luck!

Bolin
1. Unfortunately you're an orphan! Sorry to start you off on a sour note but your parents were killed by a fire bender a long time ago.
2. There is good news though! You have a brother named Tahno who's very important to you! Make sure to take good care of each other.
3. You're a pro! A pro singer that is! Go and sing your heart out!
4. You're definitely the more responsible brother, make sure to keep Tahno out of trouble now.
Hopefully this is all just temporary. Be careful who you trust out there. People may claim to know everything, but you know what they say: Trust half of what you read and none of what you hear. Good luck!
