A brief announcement that's come to me while doing applications.

I hate being a nitpicky bitch. Hate hate hate it. Any of you that have known me outside of this game or for a while probably know that while I prefer to be honest, I hate confrontation and don't like to nag.

Rule number two is not strictly upheld. Hell, it's not even upheld for ACs; we're relatively lenient on activity here, and if you explain your situation we usually let you off the hook. That being said, if I check out the characters you play and see that you haven't posted within a month or more, I'm going to press you about it before seriously reviewing your application (unless you were on hiatus), especially if I haven't personally noticed your character threading around. I don't go through every post, but I look through a hell of a lot of them, especially the open-ended ones. Sometimes I even track them. If I see a post made directly after or right before the application is posted, I check back to see the post frequency in the journals.

Please, please don't make me hound you about activity; I don't like doing it, you don't like hearing it, everyone loses. If you aren't feeling a character or if you don't have the time to play the ones you already play, please think hard about applying for another.

Thank you.

"if I check out the characters you play and see that you haven't posted within a month or more"

Wait... But I thought the two-week activity rules applies to all activity. Not just in your own character's journal.

But that wasn't really my question. Does the two-week minimum rule apply to all threading (both on the character's own journal and other journals), or just the character journal itself?
