How's My Driving?

This is a crit post for both the community and game and for your characters. If you have something you'd like to see us improve upon with the game, PLEASE TELL US HERE! Anon commenting is on, but if anything gets really nasty there will be warnings and thread-freezing. This isn't required but everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the advice of your fellow players!

Just some pointers: no taking cheap shots, no dragging personal issues into things and for the love of all that is wise and great, please double check your replies and comments before posting them. Sometimes a change in phrasing can make all the difference between a helpful tone and a condescending one.

ALSO ALSO: We'd like to clarify that HMD means HMD- which means it's okay to have both good and bad crit. Some people have expressed concerns about posting good/bad crit when a character already has bad/good crit posted. We'd like to encourage you guys to do it anyway! You can drive well or badly, and even good drivers make mistakes. So give it a try \o

You know I adore Sayo and Wolfwood, but I thought I'd say it again.

Sayo, I can't really measure your ICness since I'm not familiar with the series, but you make her an extremely sympathetic and interesting character. With her memory issues, she has a flaw that can easily lead into Sue territory, and you never let it. You handle it wonderfully.

Wolfwood, man. I need to see him more.

Thank you! Sayo is sadly just in one single episode, and one of the big reasons I was drawn to her was that I would have really loved to expand on her daily struggles. So hearing this makes me really happy to hear, and I especially agree with you and the Sue aspect—I'm so glad she's not one in the series, and I'm really glad to hear she's still holding up on that aspect of her. ;;

And damn, it's been too long since Wolfwood and Ami spoke! Between getting turned into a little kid and then dealing with Legato's tomdickery and then dealing with KNIVES DUN DUN DUNNNN and then getting 'teleported' onto a mountain...

Sheesh, he's been busy. :'|

I should also tell you I've told people I believe you must have (or be around) kids (a lot), because of the way you write Elicia. The way she'll clearly be mimicking an adult at times, it's utter win.

Aaah, thank you! I have a three-year-old brother I babysit through the day, so he's very helpful in at least having a rough outline for me to work with! I've always been worried I'll either make her too mature or too immature for her age, so this is really appreciated, man.

Have not seen/interacted with Ian yet but I LOVE Sayo. I am glad I got a chance to thread with her. Actually i didn't even know she was you. Your characters are all fabulous though, and I have told others I think Elicia is just so realistic as a kid character. <3

So..I haven't threaded you at all. Because I am a coward. But Red's been sending me threads with Wolfwood in them since she started stalking/playing with the Trigun cast here and I never cease to be amazed by your writing. Wolfwood is beyond perfect.

Elicia is also adorable beyond belief...but I'll stop there, because those are the only canons I know.

Also, I haven't threaded with Sayo, but whenever I see one of her threads it makes me smile. She seems like a difficult character to handle because of her condition, yet you have her out there as an interesting, enjoyable character.

DON'T EVER LEAVE ME! Seriously all your characters are super amazing and I eat up just about any thread I find with any of them in them. Ian I think has an AMAZING concept behind him and is currently one of my favorite new stalkees because I'm so excited to learn more about him and his world.
