Add/Remove and Mission things
Okay, first of all, here is the much overdue friend add/remove. This includes just the new ones, but you should probably head over here and run through them all, because you may have missed a few on the move over. So here's your list, knock yourself out!
Now copy that all into the Admin Console and you're good to go!

Okay, moving on, this is stuff about missions, both in general and the unique ones. So bear with me for a bit.
Okay, for our unique mission, I threw the people who volunteered for the positions (seen here) and used a random number generator to select them. Those who volunteered for multiple positions, they were picked for the first position they listed. So here is who will be going:
Field Leader: Luke Skywalker
thefinaljedi
Doctor: Mizuno Ami
geniustheveil
Stealth: Sheena
corrinesbell, Gambit
kineticcajun, Chien
dogboy, Leonardo
fearless_leader
Now this is our first time doing this, so things might be a little rough. In future missions, we'll try and work out the kinks as best we can. But let me give a little overview for how things will go here:
Tomorrow, the above characters will receive a message from the Malnosso notifying them that they have been selected for the Third Party Observation mission. The day after that, they will depart through the teleporter in the tunnels at 9AM. (This is how regular missions work, by the way.) Although I say there will be a Malnosso message, this is actually just assumed. They will simply see in their journal what their assignment is and where they need to be within 24 hours.
On the day of the mission (that's the 5th), I'll put up a log for these six characters to interact in. The log itself will open with more IC details about the mission, as much as should be needed for you guys to handle it. Everything else is on you, the players. While you can ask questions about things, this is going to be handled like the drafts, so you should be playing out everything else on your own! That means using the Third Party as NPCs and working out in your own mind what the layout is going to be, how the characters will strategize, and so on.
Treat this log as you would any other mass-interaction log! We do not expect you to have a six-way thread in that log. You can tag one-on-one (or with three people or whatever) as any point during the mission. Whether it's just simple chatting back at base camp, working together to eavesdrop on the enemy, or dealing with injuries, or what have you. This is a lot like the drafts in that sense.
If you think this sounds cool, there's another unique mission available. In the future, there will be more as well, so don't worry if your character doesn't seem appropriate for the ones so far. For the sake of fairness, players won't be able to send their characters on a mission twice in a row. You can still sign them up in advance, but if selected for one mission, they won't be considered for the following one.

Okay, moving on, I know a lot of people don't immediately get how they're supposed to play out missions. A lot has written about it, possibly too much (or possibly not enough) and it may not be presented in the most logical manner. After all, it's a bit easier for me, since I was so involved in putting it all together. So what I would like is for people to help me out here.
If you aren't sure how something works, then go ahead and ask here. If you do know how it works, then give some suggestions on how it could be presented clearer or better. Below is a set of links that directs you to all the various information pages on the Missions.

Mission Questions / Suggestion

As for food... Well. They're not starving them out there, but I don't have any thoughts beyond that.

But even if two characters are doing information research, they might not necessarily be going to same place. So qualify of quarters and food might vary. Either way, they're being taken care of. It might not be luxurious, but it's always going to be at least adequate.

Like to give an example, say someone who has a non-combatant character only needs them away for a few days, so combat testing won't work, but everything else is minimum of at least a week. Or if someone really wants to send their character to kill shift hunters, but only needs the character gone for a week and two would just be too much.
Just mostly wondering if the timeframes are meant to overall be a guideline and not set in stone so much.
Third Party Observation Plotting

(Nah not really, this is going to be awesome!)
Because my memory is terrible - were any of the others also on the Jungle Draft?
no subject
Oughta be fun. Although perhaps not so much for them.
Oops, this is me forgetting to add where he has been. Only draft he's been on was to the mines.
no subject
Leo's been to the Southern Farmlands and the mines.
no subject
He grew up in the jungle though, so he's got a good edge.

Relevant notes: Ami is a full doctor back home, as of her canon update. She heads up the village clinic in Luceti as of recently. So any basic wound/injury tending should be within her capabilities.
She's assigned as doctor for that reason, but it should be noted she's also good with stealth. She has a disguise device (at the group's service of course) that turns someone into whatever she takes a picture of, and in canon she's done infiltration missions before (usually using that in live-action, but actually infiltrating a possible enemy base in anime and manga). She's good with technology, too, so she might have some advice on things there.

But yeah, if it's not very invasive and that's made clear to him, he might back down and accept it, but. He's just not exactly the most trusting of anything vaguely telepathic.

Any thoughts on things we want to go over and do while we're out on this thing?

Well, logs here are usually done with prose or brackets(it's mun's preference). Threads are started usually either for each poster, or each part of what's going on in the log.
no subject
Or both.
But Leo-mun's right, it can be [action] or prose.

This is Luke, too lazy to log out.

A loose explanation of it's advantages oughta get him to be co-operative. Not that he likes the fact he knows none of the people in this group.
