How's My Driving?

This is a crit post for both the community and game and for your characters. If you have something you'd like to see us improve upon with the game, PLEASE TELL US HERE! Anon commenting is on, but if anything gets really nasty there will be warnings and thread-freezing. This isn't required but everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the advice of your fellow players!

Just some pointers: no taking cheap shots, no dragging personal issues into things and for the love of all that is wise and great, please double check your replies and comments before posting them. Sometimes a change in phrasing can make all the difference between a helpful tone and a condescending one.

ALSO ALSO: We'd like to clarify that HMD means HMD- which means it's okay to have both good and bad crit. Some people have expressed concerns about posting good/bad crit when a character already has bad/good crit posted. We'd like to encourage you guys to do it anyway! You can drive well or badly, and even good drivers make mistakes. So give it a try \o

Sometimes I get the impression that you only ever seem to tag your circle of friends in the game, and when you DO tag outside of it you seem to drop the threads after barely any comments (2 or 3 by the look of it). I think this is becoming a real problem and I'm bringing it up because you do it every single time you tag me.

I'm really really sorry that that's been happening!! I'm glad you pointed it out to me because I personally didn't even notice. I try my best not to drop threads since I don't like to and I didn't think I did it that often but I guess I do more than I thought aeiorghoa

me again sorry but I was wondering if you could link me to some threads where this happened. I was worried so I checked all of my thread archives to see if I could find where this happened and I really couldn't find any that I've dropped recently...

I mean there are some I have yet to reply to of course since I haven't gotten to tags yet but none that are dropped.

You don't have to of course! I'll be fixing the problem either way but I'm just curious.

You'll have to forgive me for not wanting to de-anon, I don't like critting people at all.

I just think it would be beneficial if you do keep up the threads with other people as you never know, you could end up making new friends that way! It just feels very rude to have someone ignore your tags whilst continuing to tag their friends (and I have you on plurk so I've seen you linking to threads and tagging people whilst ignoring others in the past). It's just something you need to work on and take into consideration as it gives off a bad impression to other people.

I definitely know where you're coming from though, feeling like your thread in particular is being ignored and jumped over but please understand that I'm not ignoring anyone's threads. It may seem that way to you and maybe other people idk but I'm really not. The way I tag, I go to the tags I can respond to like within a split second then I circle back around to the threads that may take me a moment to reply to. So I don't aim to respond to close friends threads or close CR threads first. Hell, sometimes it takes me forever to reply to close CR threads because I avoid them until think of a proper answer.

I do eventually get to all my threads, even if it takes me a while. That method is just easiest for me.
