Mission Update!
Droid Sabotage - Begins September 21st (fyi: we pushed the date up by one!)
Field Leader: Steve Rogers; Security: Alia Shepard, Sophie, Rogue, Greg Lestrade, Gai Tsutsugami, Masaomi Kida, Leonhardt; Stealth: Trafalgar Law, Fujiko Mine, Nara Shikamaru, Albert Silverberg, Loki; Technicians: Donatello, Artemis Fowl II, Daisy, Tony Stark; Programmers: Robert Hastings, Pascal, Doctor “Eggman” Robotnik, Raine Sage
New mission will come later this month! We're going to try out a shorter sign-up time to see if it raises more volunteers.
If you're new here, then this is a mission post. You can find available missions at
rpmanager. You are welcome to subscribe or track the journal, but this is not required, as updates will be posted on this journal. For those of you who don't know about missions, the links below should help you out. I suggest you start with the Mission FAQ first!
The log is going up for this current mission at the same time. Check out the details inside for a special chance for one character to play ‘hero’ and save the day. However playing hero doesn’t come cheap, either. There will be a thread on here to volunteer for this role!

Feel free to discuss and ask questions here! You may use this as a plotting post for the upcoming mission(s) as well.

MOD QUESTIONS

No, I'll be polite now. I'll even use caps. The mission now runs until the 23rd, yes.

Imagine a vacation resort based primarily on a mountainside/base. The convention is taking place inside the resort. BELOW the resort (in a secret underground facility) is the droid factory. While they are part of the same complex, only the rogues and (now) the main Organization know that the resort is merely a front for a deeper operation.
Does that help?

FACILITY LAYOUT
Does this facility mirror two of the ones that have been visited in the past (ie. the one on the draft/the third floor mission, and the one the Bil decoys infiltrated) or is it different?
If it's the same, is there a third floor on this one? And how far would it be from where the technicians and co. are going?

Also, would it be possible for any of the techies or computer savvy people to bypass the security devices and the wing scan to the code room altogether, or would they be stuck having to subdue Kidston or blow the door?
no subject
The techies are welcome to try to disable the wing scan but there will be a random dice roll to determine success rate if that choice is made by the group -- trip the wrong wire and (just like with the blow-the-bloody-doors-off option) the security detail will come after them pretty fast. Interfering with the scanner itself is probably more of an eleventh hour strategy, given that it'll nearly always result in a strike force showing up immediately. Granted, the force could be fought off...
Re: MOD QUESTIONS
Mostly, will it block powers entirely, or will it be protecting the building itself from damage? Or both?
Just wanted to be clear since that may affect overall strategy.
Re: MOD QUESTIONS
But the Malnosso operate at a more relaxed 50% in their facility. After all, some of them are pretty super too and need access to their abilities. It should be noted that a lot of the doors, walls, and so forth are heavily reinforced. Some of the sensitive areas may be protected by Shift barriers that have be passed through the old fashioned way (by actually using the feather system).

But a lab coat might go a long way to making him fit in.
