Mission Update!
Droid Sabotage - Begins September 21st (fyi: we pushed the date up by one!)
Field Leader: Steve Rogers; Security: Alia Shepard, Sophie, Rogue, Greg Lestrade, Gai Tsutsugami, Masaomi Kida, Leonhardt; Stealth: Trafalgar Law, Fujiko Mine, Nara Shikamaru, Albert Silverberg, Loki; Technicians: Donatello, Artemis Fowl II, Daisy, Tony Stark; Programmers: Robert Hastings, Pascal, Doctor “Eggman” Robotnik, Raine Sage
New mission will come later this month! We're going to try out a shorter sign-up time to see if it raises more volunteers.
If you're new here, then this is a mission post. You can find available missions at
rpmanager. You are welcome to subscribe or track the journal, but this is not required, as updates will be posted on this journal. For those of you who don't know about missions, the links below should help you out. I suggest you start with the Mission FAQ first!
The log is going up for this current mission at the same time. Check out the details inside for a special chance for one character to play ‘hero’ and save the day. However playing hero doesn’t come cheap, either. There will be a thread on here to volunteer for this role!
OOC: Mission Suggestions | Mission FAQ | Nitpicker's Guide: In-Depth Information | Mission Tracking
IC: Malnosso Information Post | Recurring Missions | Unique Missions | CJ's Announcement
Feel free to discuss and ask questions here! You may use this as a plotting post for the upcoming mission(s) as well.

Well, admittedly, after mulling over what canon says Law would do and feel, and all the variables and potential long term consequences. Not mention their objectives, both here (sabotage the droids) and long term (get out/stop kidnapping/experiments/what have for good), this is what Law would ultimately feel.
A is good on the surface. Efficient, fast, needs only a couple of people to pull off, very good odds of succeeding - what more could a pirate want? Well aside from casting a group that's on their side as the villains, the loss of life (and subsequent DPs) may be unnecessary, there may be repercussions down the road from Malnosso who may not agree with Rem's 'do what you must'.
B is good. Even if nothing else came of it, there is the possibility of forming an alliance with the FTSD. But it's time costly. Combine it with C, and you're pulling in a lot of people to make this work... people needed for the primary objective. You're also increasing your risk.
Law's personal preference is to create chaos to mask their true objectives. A lot of it, a sort of B sliding towards A scale, that involves only hopefully a few people, simple to execute, and hopefully slices off some of time needed to pull it off. Perhaps some small scale destruction of unoccupied areas, and a bomb threat involving the main resort (that now looks much more credible). Don't need to kill people, but driving them into a panic works. He will, however, be very open to hearing what others have to say first.

I know Shikamaru would like to roll with fewer people (obviously who actually goes depends on OOC preferences). At it's simplest form though, where they risk nothing, all it basically is is a B Distraction. And if we go with the one I suggested, a bomb threat, that's plenty of chaos generated with very few people required. It also has the potential of getting the underground facility discovered after the sabotage mission is completed.
