How's My Driving?

This is a crit post for both the community and game and for your characters. If you have something you'd like to see us improve upon with the game, PLEASE TELL US HERE! Anon commenting is on, but if anything gets really nasty there will be warnings and thread-freezing. This isn't required but everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the advice of your fellow players!

Just some pointers: no taking cheap shots, no dragging personal issues into things and for the love of all that is wise and great, please double check your replies and comments before posting them. Sometimes a change in phrasing can make all the difference between a helpful tone and a condescending one.

ALSO ALSO: We'd like to clarify that HMD means HMD- which means it's okay to have both good and bad crit. Some people have expressed concerns about posting good/bad crit when a character already has bad/good crit posted. We'd like to encourage you guys to do it anyway! You can drive well or badly, and even good drivers make mistakes. So give it a try \o

Bayley, I'm afraid that like Mari I don't have a lot constructive to say. I've genuinely enjoyed our threads with Tony/Abed and Luke.

I know you're in a bit of a rough spot with Toph, but I'm very glad Saori has been able to play off of her. That has been a very interesting, lighthearted, and rewarding experience. I think that you've got the voice down, and I'm really feeling it when I read her threads where she's discussing what she knows about her future. I commend you for handling that so well, despite knowing how hard it must be to play out.

Thanks, Ax! I've been really enjoying Toph's CR with Saori, so I hope I'm able to pull her out of this funk. Toph discovering and dealing with her future has been some of the most rewarding RPing I've ever done, so I'm really glad to hear that it came off well and believable. :)

Can I continue to say how much I enjoy your crew of characters? They're wonderful. Being able to have someone that Adele can be a genuine bitch to that rolls with it or deals it right back as she deserves is fantastic and I love the frenemy thing she and Tony are rocking. He's handling everything you and the game throw at him as best he can and it shows.

I know I've been absolutely terrible about keeping up with our CR, but I just want you to know how impressed I always am with your characters. You are fantastic at capturing the intricacies of their personalities, and their voices are all so distinctive. The only one I'm not familiar with is Abed, but knowing how fantastic you are with your others, I can only imagine he's equally great.

It's always a joy to thread with you. Life is kicking my butt right now, which is the only reason tags are painfully slow (and I've been godawful about tagging out). But I always am happy to see Bayley tags!

I know I always praise you for your incredibly varied cast of characters, but I have to do it yet again, because dude, how do you do it? It's awesome. You're awesome.

For something that's new--I'm seriously adoring Rapunzel and Grune's friendship. It is just the cutest thing ever. Those two need to tagteam sometime spread joy and happiness and so forth (possibly to Asch).

Hello Bayley! I know we haven't played very much yet but I've stalked a lot more so it's okay your Tony is really fantastic. His voice is so great, and just so him it's like watching one of the movies when you read his tags. It's really something else.

The way Tony and Howard have been developing is especially cool, and the stark differences in their mindset and morality vs the superficial similarities between them and just how complicated and terrible their relationship is is really fascinating. You and Marion do an awesome job with it.

idk what else to say but I'm really looking forward to the draft and whatever comes of it. :D

THANKS SRA. :D That really means a lot! I've been pushing him in a lot of different ways lately--particularly his threads with Howard and how he's responding to that--so it's really good to hear that it's coming off authentic and as complicated as it really is.
