I see you driving round town with the Bil I love and I'm like...
So, you guys have seen a few hints of what's going down. A promise for a draft, a vague threat from the Malnosso, and some really nasty weather. Well here's where it all comes together. First, let's talk about the Draft.
No, scratch that. First GO DO YOUR ACTIVITY CHECK! In fact, you're not allowed to look at the rest of this post until you do. I'm serious. You'll be in so much trouble if you try and skip it!

The draft starts on the 19th. It will end on the 23rd. We'll have more details for you later, but here's some highlights of what to expect:
-The General returns!
-Shifters will have a new type of attack that involves attacking the subconscious.
-The Scanning Devices return
-The Malnosso Security Forces will be participating in the battle
-Draftees from other enclosures will also be present.
-Oh yeah and the battle? IT'S IN SPACE.
Sounds like something you wanna do? Well you just need to sign up here, in the appropriate thread listed below. Remember, characters are drafted against their will, but only if you the player want them to be. Feel free to draft as few or as many characters as you like. Use the copypasta below:
And use it here.
When the NPC post goes up to announce the draft, the character names signed up will appear in that list for character in-game. For now, refer here to brush up on details

So that leaves the vague threat. That six day window ends on the 18th. So what will happen? Well if Bil isn't turned over, then nothing.
Not immediately. Why start a search if the town is full of ornery Lucetians eager to cause them to slip up? From the evening of the 21st to the early hours of the 22nd, in the middle of some incredibly severe and destructive weather, the Malnosso will be starting their search. This will include a great many droids and tamed Shift Hunters to track down Mr. Bil. This is where you guys come in. What goes down is going to be purely reactive to whatever you guys do. There's talk of presenting decoys, fighting them off, or whatever. There's several scenarios we have planned depending on what you guys ultimately choose to do. So once we have a firm idea of what Luceti's response will be, we'll provide more details of how things will play out.
For now, here's a write up of what to expect from the weather, courtesy of Cata, during this Malnosso raid:
19th: Typical rainy day, light drizzles on and off in the morning through the afternoon. Steady rain through the evening.
20th: Steady rain through the morning and afternoon, thunderstorm at night (between 7 and 8 PM), heavy rain and high winds through the rest of the night.
21st and 22nd: Torrential rain, heavy wind (between 34 knots (39 mph) and 64 knots (74 mph)), thunderstorms throughout the day. Winds and rain will die down toward 11 PM on the 22nd.
23rd: Steady rain, clearing up into drizzles by the afternoon and stopping by night.
Things to consider
-If your character is capable of sensing or knows how to read weather patterns, they are free to do so. If your character has visions or future-sensing abilities and wants to see something relating to the weather, go ahead.
-Flooding is a possibility. Because there are no drainage systems in Luceti and much of the area is dirt and/or grass, expect the area to get very muddy and saturated with water fast. The sudden increase in rain will also cause the river to rise a few inches. All that said, this is still optional. If you want to play with water damage, feel free to. If you're not interested in the idea, no need to go with it.
-Due to high winds, expect fallen branches and debris around. As for any structural damage, I'll leave that up to you guys (though it'd be cool seeing trees and fallen branches blocking off paths and people working together to clear them).
-The ocean will be suffering high winds, choppy waters, and dangerous conditions. So it's probably not a good idea to go sailing!
Remember, during this time most of the village will likely be on the battlefield. So if you want to participate in what's going on in the village, your character will need to stay out of the draft. Choose carefully!
