Recruitment Post

So for those of you who are new, every now and then we'll have a draft, where an NPC will make a post and ask for fighters to go out and fight horrible mean Third Party soldiers who want to go around killing folk. It's a volunteers-only sort of fight! And by volunteer, it means your characters have been volunteered and will, one way or another, end up on the battlefield. If you see your name/your character's name on this list, please reply with the following:

Remember, your character will only be sent IF and only if you fill out the above form, otherwise their name won't be sent out. This time there is no limits to how many you can send out! Just remember that the theme park will still be around during all this.

PLEASE NOTE the Shift Afflicted status. This will work the same as last time (a day or two of the draft will give them a handicap like narcolepsy, headaches, power loss, blindness, and so on.) These are characters who would normally not be drafted but due to circumstances, the Security Forces are dragging them into it anyway, even at the risk of the subjects.

According to the modsquad, everyone who put themselves on the list is being shipped out.

So while I still plan to have Lina hit up Grune (tag situation is FINALLY being brought under control), she'll probably try to get Grune out of the way. Until Grune uses Absolute. And then its "You're with me!"

Giles will...probably check in a lot when they aren't together and try to keep an eye on Grune if and when (when) they cross paths. He's going to be moving a lot.

Haha, Lina, I think you'll have to arm-wrestle people for her. Definitely Norma and Moses are getting first dibs. And Walter, but he definitely wouldn't want to spend even two seconds with her, so that's okay. XD

Sounds good. I'd love for them to spend at least a little time teaming up, but since they'll both be wandering, a little is probably all we'll be able to manage.

Lina will arm wrestle. I think she could take Moses. Norma...might be another matter. BUT SHE WOULD TRY. I need her to hit up Norma, I think Lina would love Norma most of all.

So would I! I'm taking every change I can to have Giles be useful and help people out while not being blind or freaking out. When they're both at relatively top form, I think they'd make an excellent team. We'll see when opportunities present themselves - probably depends on the terrain.

...That, alas, is not a promise I can make. Though whether or not Alice comes out depends on how much trouble Ginia lands herself in and since this is her first draft, she's going to play it safe.

Okay, sure thing. Just as a warning, though: killing something in front of Grune while grinning like a psycho got Grell bumped down from "potential new friend" to "not a very nice person." Alice would fare a little better, since they spent a good deal of time together before the draft, but. Uh. Yeah.

I definitely realize the consequences and I think even Alice is going to realize that and feel bad. Grune is a bit of a morality compass for Alice. But Alice is ICly a violent, vicious personality and when she comes out to defend Ginia, she comes out blazing.

And that "something" was a holographic vampire, not an actually living person, so there wasn't even any blood to speak of.
